tiefling time. :3
Well, being an antisocial kind of guy who can't find myself a proper Dungeons and Dragons group, Baldur's Gate 3 seems to be the next best thing. And, er...after about five or six consecutive Dragonborn, why not make a tiefling! And at the same time, practice my first ever "humanoid" face. As always, comments and criticism welcome.
Even when growing up as part of a tiefling warband, raiding human settlements, Adranezza had harbored a love for knowledge, reading any book that she could get her hands on, whether it be scavenged from the remains of human settlements, or gathered elsewhere.
It may have been this love for literature that, fortunately or unfortunately, on her first time as a raider with a small warband, took her away from the rest of her war party, dragging her away to the settlement's combined church and library.
The priest of the town found the invader in the library, idly turning pages in one of the great tomes. Alone and secluded, just the two of them, the priest was able to take a chance on her, engaging her in discussion, about her life, why she was raiding settlements.
He engaged her in coversation for so long, that the humans of the settlement were able to rally against their invaders, driving them out with Adranezza left behind, and the priest was able to take her, hide her away in a hidden room beneath the church.
Adranezza lives in a Quasimodo-style accomodation (though with a holy man who cares rather more for her than Frolo.) She lives off meals that the priest brings to her, and reads every book in the library she can get her hands on, though she dearly wishes she could hear the sermons properly, rather than from beneath the church floor, and to explore the greater world.
