Maddie is a socially clumsy person. She can misunderstand people or have sarcasm and jokes go over her head. She tends to lean towards the literal side of communication and often doesn’t know what to say in emotional conversation. Maddie is also prone to moments of social anxiety, stuttering on her words or thoughts. Despite these shortcomings she will always be there to listen to those she cares about, even if she doesn’t know what to say.
Maddie is an incredibly talented individual in the fields of alchemy, chemistry, and medicine. She works with plant life, by-products from creatures, and even some simple magic to create potions, magic items, and medicinal products to sell. She sells these at her personal shop Mad Solutions. Maddie has a very curious mind, always spending time researching and trying to learn new things. Hearing about something new that excites her can lead her to focusing on it to an extreme until she feels she’s learned it properly.
