Patricia and Satoshi meet Blimp, the perucetus.

Investigating the attacks on coastal villages by an unknown giant sea creature, Patricia and Satoshi end up finding an abandoned complex near the sea which, upon closer exploration, shows that the place is not exactly that abandoned. There are still "occupants" on site.
Blimp is a creature genetically created from fossil perucetus DNA. She would have some gadgets in her head that allow her to "translate" her sounds. Yes, Blimp is smart and can "talk" thanks A.I. Despite its size, Blimp is a peaceful creature as long as it doesn't feel threatened. If that happens, she doesn't hesitate to show what a beast she can be and of course, due to her size and weight, the attacks are devastating.
The two young heroes go to investigate rumors of attacks by a "sea monster". In the case of Blimp who, unable to communicate properly, is misunderstood and attacked. Thus, with no choice, she is forced to defend herself and in the climax of the confusion, the mechanism that allows Blimp to "speak" works again and she is able to talk again and clarify the situation.
Naturally the misunderstanding is cleared up but, of course, no one will believe, or accept the testimony of a talking whale...especially one that is considered a sea monster. So, Patricia and Satoshi need to help Blimp escape before authorities arrive on the scene and disaster strikes.
