Saoirse’s heartbeat thundered in her ears as she rang the doorbell. She felt like she was at the end of her rope. It had been nearly two months since she was thrown out of the convent. She couldn’t stand the side glances she’d gotten from the villages afterwards, so she had walked and walked and walked until she arrived in a new city. Her only possession was the plain white dress, but at least she had escaped from the judgement of the people who knew her. On the other hand, she didn’t know anyone here, and it scared her to be so alone. She looked for work, but it turned out there wasn’t much demand for hand illuminated bibles anymore, and though Saoirse was a fair seamstress, most people who had sewing kits for her to borrow, already knew how to do it themselves. Not knowing what else to do, she turned to begging, and when that didn’t work, petty theft to sustain herself.
She had been sitting on a park bench, eating a purloined bagel, when he approached her. He said he was a photographer for some company she didn’t recognize, and asked if he could take some candid pictures of her. Her initial reaction was to say no, but then he offered her a hundred euros. She couldn’t refuse that, it was food for the next week or more. The photos were simple enough, just casual pics of her in the park. Then, when they were done, he made his offer. Go to his studio for a modeling shoot for another two fifty. She hadn’t accepted for almost two weeks, the cash from earlier was gone and pickings were thin. So now she stood on his doorstep.
After some time, the door opened to reveal the photographer. He welcomed her in and made some quip about thinking she wasn’t coming. Saoirse barely heard him, her mind was in overdrive. He took her to his studio room.
“So, this is what I’ve got for you to wear today. There’s multiple sizes so you should be able to find something that fits.” he said casually.
Saoirse’s eyes widened as she saw what he had available. It was a selection of cream colored undergarments in various sizes.
He continued, “You can change in there,” he pointed to a small room off to the side. “When you’re ready, come on out and we’ll get started.”
She blushed harder than she’d ever done before, even that time Sister Gloria caught her masturbating with a crucifix.
“H-how much is this for?” she timidly asks.
“Two hundred and fifty euros.” he replied. “Rethinking this?”
“No!” she fervently shook her head. This was too big an opportunity to pass by. She picked up the underwear and headed to the changing room. It took some time, but she cleaned some of the grime off herself and found a set that fit her. When she came out, she felt like she was going to implode on herself. She had never felt so exposed! Hardly anyone had seen so much of her fur since she was a child, and never a male! She walked over to the photo screen and asked,
“How do I look?”
She fought the urge to cover herself and run, resulting in her arms and legs fidgeting in front of her.
“Oh, beautiful! Just like that!” the photographer pulled his camera up and began snapping away. “We’ll get to the poses in a moment. For now, just keep doing that gorgeous!”
Saoirse grinned a little as his compliments built her confidence a bit. The butterflies in her stomach turned to excitement as the camera snapped away. She had never felt this way before. She thought it was wrong, but it felt so good!
