Sketch of my main fox, in a real old throwback powered armor.
Way back when I was first drawing I made up a race of sentient fox aliens with technological advancements that would make our own seem as total magic. Molecular nanites and replicator ability to change very atoms from one metal to another. Creating sheets of armor as durable as diamonds from the very atmosphere itself at the mere wave of their hand.
As a result, now way further on down the road and several years of drawing improvement later, this is a new and improved praetorian armor set of the fox species. Heavily modified from the older style found here Praetorian Armor admittedly I wasn't going to do the helmet because then really there wouldn't be clear its Arktic. Advanced modifications and improvements in drawing over the 10 years I've been drawing in construction. I admit I haven't done a ton of heavy armor drawings but I still think it looks a ton better than what I was working with back then. Especially the amount of improvements in anatomy so the armor actually fits onto a more realistic figure with the illusion of actual mass. I changed the old large angular tower shield emitters to more of a buckler and knee pad to protect the wearer from incoming projectile fire. The tactical hip skirt, just because I love the old ARC troopers from the Clone Wars.
Hopefully everyone enjoys some more scifi style armor.
