A friend of mine made some mead, and although I don't drink, I wanted to try it, because all my life I thought that mead would be a kind of honey syrup with a kick.
His was white wine chardonnay, dry and crisp. It was a big surprise.
I guess if I was a drinker, I would have been able to appreciate it better. I know he put a lot of work into it. But is was nothing like I was anticipating.
