Sharon Medley. A lot of the art I get of her tends to show her looking rather... mean. The road to adulthood's been rough for her and rife with unpleasantries, but it wasn't always like that for my red dragoness. No, she used to be a very different person, living happily in her village with her loving parents and just enjoying life. Yes, things weren't perfect and she didn't have much in the way of friends, but she still saw plenty of reason to see the good in everything.

How things can change...

The first time I've commissioned Sharon during her younger "Peasant" years since... 2018, I think? Yeah, it's been quite awhile, but this design of hers is still canon to Sharon's life even if much of my focus nowadays is on her aged-up "Outcast" and "Mercenary" forms. Another reason I seldom get art of young peasant Sharon these days is because, well... there's really not much to who she is at this stage of her life; she's an upbeat, energetic young peasant girl from a remote village who loves nature and animals. Melee doesn't even meet her until a year after his journey begins, and even then would only get to know her for about as long before moving on; half a decade would pass before the two would meet again, and by then, Sharon's a very different person.

Figured I'd have this artist draw young Sharon for me, since it wouldn't be the first time and he's shown himself to be a bit... selective about what he'll draw (let's just say there's a reason there's no Melee art by this guy yet). Maybe I'll get him to draw Mercenary Sharon at some point and complete the trifecta, once I finalize her design? That'd be neat to see! But that's for another time.
