this song and especially the story really speaks to me I did the same thing. I hardened my heart after being called a whiny baby for years because I was very sensitive and now it's hard for me to open up or trust anyone.
if your thinking about doing this DON'T!!! it sucks and you will most likely be very alone like me I only recently have started to force myself to not suppress my feelings and it feels so much better!
