With autumn upon us, it was time to draw more Night in the Woods fanart as I've been continuing my second playthrough of the game (I'm going for the Gregg route this time around as I played through Bea's route the first time :) ). I got a lot of inspiration for art with Bea's route, so I'm sure Gregg's will give me lots of inspiration too. :)
I wanted to do a cute piece of the main characters among the autumn shades, so I came up with them snuggling in the autumn woods together - with Mae snuggling up to Bea, and Angus and Gregg hugging. I loved drawing the posing here and it was nice to draw some fluff with them. 🍂🥰

I really love the aesthetic the game has too - it's a big reason why I have so much fun drawing fanart of it and why I'm so glad I finally checked it out. :3
It's an adventure game where you control Mae as she returns home after dropping out of college, and explores the town of Possum Springs to find things with her friends, family and the town have massively changed since she left - she explores the dark secrets of the town, her friends and herself in the process.... :o
Over the course of the game, you can choose to hang out with different characters to learn more about them (both the main crew and some of the townsfolk), and there are two primary routes - if you hang out mostly with Gregg or if you hang out mostly with Bea (Angus appears mostly in Gregg's route but he does have one or two unique hangouts of his own). The story is generally the same over both routes, but the dialogue, events and interactions between characters do change a lot depending on who you choose to hang out with and it also allows you to learn more about Mae and her connections and thoughts on the town and herself depending on who you choose to interact with and what dialogue options you pick. :)
