A malleable type of drone that you can make look like whatever you want, act however you want, and feel whatever you want. No need to worry about hurting its body or its feelings, the servigoo drone is exactly what you make it into, and nothing more.
A major squick for me in kink stuff is any kind of permanent outcome. Death, imprisonment, mental changes, they all gross me out. However, I wrote a story a few months ago called City of Transformation, in which a character undergoes a permanent mental change, overwriting their personality. Well, I say "permanent" when really "indefinite" is the proper term, because none of the characters in that setting ever keep a personality long-term. I was fine with it because nothing significant was lost.
That's when I really noticed what squicks me out in permanent stuff: Loss. A character's life, who they were, who they could be, what they've done and will do, that's the stuff that's lost in permanent bad ends. By making it so that it's not a whole life, history, and future that's lost, I could enjoy these kinds of situations! But, transformation isn't really my thing, so I wanted something more versatile. And the idea I came up with was more versatile than I could have hoped for.
Drones. Beings that aren't people, but instead toys to be used however their owner desires. I've seen plenty of drones on FA, of course, but they were often people being turned into drones, having their personalities erased and overwritten with servitude. How about drones that were never people in the first place? No past to erase, no future to snuff out, no desire to be anything but a good little drone, mind and body shaped and molded like clay into whatever their owner wants them to be, eager to be reshaped again and again if that's what master wants. That was the start of servigoo drones.
And if their minds start empty and are only filled with what the owner wants, does that mean they don't need to have normal feelings? Can't feel pain? Can't suffer? Can't desire anything other than what their owner programs into them? Those things pushed me away from certain art, and suddenly they don't apply to these drones!
I was hooked. And interested; the concept of beings that can think, act, speak, and feel, but who aren't people, opened up so many possibilities. My thoughts kept coming back to them, until I finally decided I'd thought enough and sat down to write. And I ended up writing this entire 2.6k document in a single day. I just let my ideas flood into the text file, and when those ideas spawned more ideas, I wrote those too. I hope I'll write proper stories for these drones soon, and I hope these drones light a spark in you like they did for me.
