(my headcanon): Well why not? He has a CCC son, whom he wants to and eventually take care of (i.e. me), in me he finds comfort, after his psychological trauma, which he received in his youth, when he lost almost identical in age, visual signs and character sheltered child.... That's how I help him to cleanse himself of his sins and do good deeds 💚🐍
