"It's okay, Zee-Zee," Zoe said, stroking the annoyed-looking little squirrel's head as she helped him step out of his soaked pull-up, "you came real close to making it to the potty in time, even though we were a long way away. And even big cubs can have little accidents from time to time..."
"Like when you were little and drank a lot of soda and you had to wear Skippa's diaper?" Zee-Zee giggled, remembering the story he'd recently been told.
"Oh, Skippa told you about that, huh?" Zoe said, with a twitch of the tail and a little frown, pleased though she was to see Zee-Zee cheering up again.
"Uh-huh, he did, and he said you'd thump him if you knew!" Zee-Zee chirped. "Are you gonna tie his tail in a knot?" he asked, excitedly. He'd been hoping to see Zoe do that to someone ever since she first threatened it.
Zoe suppressed a chuckle, sat down on the edge of the bathtub and lifted the little squirrel up onto her lap. "I'll deal with that silly otter later," she smiled. "But Zee-Zee," she added, tapping his nose with a finger to make sure he was paying attention, "tattling on other people to get them in trouble isn't nice. I know you didn't mean to, but just try to remember that, okay?"
"Okay," Zee-Zee said with a blush. The caretakers at daycare had spent plenty of time impressing on him the difference between helping and telling tales. "Sorry, Zoe. You don't have to tie Skippa's tail in a knot..."
"Maybe I will anyway," Zoe laughed. "But first, let's get you a new pull-up, big squirrel!"

Kazootles! A dream come true for any expectant parent. After all, you just never know what the stork may bring you and a good mommy and daddy definately want to ensure their little one can "go" about their exploring the world around them unhindered by a nappy that simply won't give them the freedom of motion he, or she, needs to be at their best!
Cleverly thought out and executed, Zee. Big points for putting your clever mind towards that extra degree of market research to "cover" those hybrids, too. They may be a specialty line, but no cubby, or hatchy, should ever feel discomfort just because they are different from what their mommy, or daddy, or may be. :)

Well, in a world with such diversity of cubs, buying nappies isn't just a case of grabbing a pack from the shelves... ^.^
And yep, it's important to cover all those little hybrids too - they can even custom-make diapers for completely unique cubs, for a very reasonable price! *cuddles the little yoshi-ducky*

Hmm. *Looks at the big boy pants* My mommy and daddy say I need to start thinking big and not having little sneaky leaks and stuffs. *Pats at his sides and appears a bit spacey* Though, I just never know when it happens and always feel sad when the little birdy on my nappy stop singing because I make warm whoopsie in my shorts. *sighs*
*Nods and smiles* Thanks, Zee! *Hugs* Though, *ponders* even if I stop having sneaky-leakies, I worry I may not want to be a big boy yet. *Looks down and sighs* What if my buddy, Toroth, isn't ready and I am and he feels all left out and I make him feel bad for being all big and he's not and... *quack quack quack quack*
*hugs the flustered flutterer* Don't worry about it! Mommy says you shouldn't get worked up about potty problems, because there's more important things, like playing and being a cute little cub!

Oh, *toddles over and snuggles the worried squirrel* My mommy is always telling me she is happy as long as I do my best. *Looks down for a moment* Even if I make a whoopsie, she can tell I didn't mean to and, well, I'm sure your mommy knows you are doing your best to. *Smiles and nods* Hey, you got the big boy pants to prove it, too! *quack quack*
*nod* Since custom diapers can get expensive, I've found that I can fit quite well into wide-tailhole diapers meant for beavers and platypuseseses... platypi... however ya say it... and just fit all my tails side-by-side in one! It's actually more comfy since I don't have thin strips of plastic separating my tails out, and it keeps messes in just as well!
