There was a massive mother garter snake in my berry bushes today. The bug-spraying guy was mindlessly spraying the bushes, saw the snake, and screamed. I responded by screaming. Turns out it was just a snake.

Took many pics, this is my second favorite.

This snake is the main one that patrols my house and hangs around the rose bushes. She made a whole parade of little snakes last year. It's hard to see in this pic, but halfway through her there's a bulge of something big that she ate recently (most likely a mole, mouse, or toad.)
