Either they're being pretty harsh, or that friend of theirs must have some sort of off-putting thing towards women that is really potent.

Don't exactly think we're seeing Our Heroes at their best here. I mean, at first blush it's kind of funny, but the more I think about it the more it seems (not necessarily intentionally) a bit mean-spirited as well.

I know how I'd feel if I'd broken up with someone and they switched orientations shortly thereafter...I don't think I'd need the kind of help that would involve my friends joking about it at my expense. At least, not so soon.

Actually, I did go on a blind date once with someone who decided to switch genders about a year later. I'm relieved that the date itself didn't go better, and can't imagine how I'd feel if I somehow felt responsible for their decision.

Also once talked to someone online (on my birthday, no less) who jumped off a building the next day. I really doubt I had anything to do with it (had never talked to the person perviously) but that haunts me a bit sometimes.

So, I hope the friend didn't hear them, is what it boils down to.

I guess every comic book character needs at least one moment where they act like, well, jerks. I believe this was it for these two. XD

They didn't joke about it to his face, that would've been mean. Everybody becomes somebody's victim of off-screen humour at some point. So yeah, it's kind of mean of them to laugh, but Eddie's situation kind of had it coming.

True enough that everyone does it, but ideally (yeah, we all know how that works) you shouldn't say something about someone behind their back that you wouldn't say to their face. And I'm admittedly concerned that they didn't even give it a couple of minutes before starting in...I really wonder whether Eddie may have heard them, given what I can only assume is his better-than-average hearing.

I think it's mostly a call-back to the fact that so many of his exes "turn lesbo", according to his own stories. :p (Well, that and they probably badly needed something to laugh about right now, but it's not like it came out of nowhere.)

Of all the fetishes presented in Graveyard Greg stories, probably the most prevalent is sadism. Not sadism engaged in by the characters in the story itself, but by Greg. He creates awesome comics that entertain a lot of people and one they are into it... Nothing. Wait! A two year long hiatus! Wait! I'm cancelling the comic! Wait! I'm bringing it back! Wait! Side story from the main plot!

Greg loves to torture his audience and we always come back for more because we must see how this awesome story plays out!
