In the Pokemon world, it can be dangerous to venture out at night on your own, especially if you've heard rumors that there'd a dangerous and ravenous mon lurking in the shadows waiting to make you into his next meal.
Rumors don't stop everyone, and unfortunately for this poor soul who took it upon themselves to, "Take out the big scary beast", the "beast" was a lot hungrier than anticipated.
Oh well, at the very least by sating the starving Lycanroc they've prevented someone else from taking the plunge into his eager gut. I mean, unless it's still hungry for seconds, which it more than likely is.
You should probably get back to the others before he spots you... Even if there is something oddly captivating seeing your friend struggle to escape.
You could run over and try and help him out, but the likelihood of you succeeding, or even just managing to get away after inevitably failing is quite slim.
You'll probably just wind up adding even more to that big round gut, without the Lycan even needing to get up and search for more.
Yeah, as much as the poor guy doesn't deserve it, it's probably for the best you just leave him to gurgle away. At least it's not you, right?
