Intended this just as a doodle to pass the time, but I just kept going...
Sam post-evolution. Just a taste of what may be to come. If Sam ever evolves, as I hope he will, I want it to be an important IC event... either something done to help somebody in need where a Growlithe's strength isn't enough, or as a multi-month arc with a loving partner complete with a party with all of his friends watching as he finally accepts that Fire Stone and evolves right in front of them. I can't say for sure if it'll ever happen, but that's kind of the fun of RP, nothing's ever a given.
Speaking of partners, I'm amused by the prospect of him almost certainly being smaller than his significant other as a Growlithe, before probably growing both taller and heavier than him... That's just what happens when you're big for a Growlithe.
Regarding the piece, there are parts I love, especially how quick this was (maybe 2-3 hours max, it just flew out). Hair is getting better but it's still difficult for me to make it look good, so there are parts of his mane that are fine, and parts where... he... really needs a comb, or maybe a chisel.
In any case, Sam is my Growlithe-morph (even if he's older and probably not wiser here), and I play him on Pokemorph Paradise!
