There are a few things that we can turn the pages back to. Yes, the wars are over. There were repeated forms of them, even as the dragon king fell, which includes the most spoken of being the skeleton wars for how terrible they were.
Both sides COULD stop killing each other, but it doesn't work that way. The lord of the monsters is gone. There is no head to unite them, and so there are those that hide and those that fight on. It's relatively not even that long after all the horrors and death came to subside on a massive scale. That doesn't even account for the human side who too are still seeking out death for monsters. We know this from the second page with the mentioning of even humans being killed and burned for coexisting with monsters.
Nah Nah and her people are little regarded but they were still given both a place and purpose in the war for the lands of Endlen. When Nah Nah speaks, she speaks about pride, about being given undeniable respect when it comes to Imps. Realizing the very thing you became a part of and gave everything into in order to raise your recognition as a people only to see it gone...? Devastating.
We also need to understand she has been in YEARS of isolation, guarding and building upon a great mechanism for a dungeon that would be returned to. She may have been on the outs with most of the others but we saw there were still Imps there too. Imps stick together. So being left behind and putting your all into something to prove yourself then finding out that all the others may have been dead in a war they have now lost? It's enough to make a person scream, let alone punch the face of the figure who represents the "hero" of the humans and most likely killed their lord.

Okay, I think, I see.
Though I do have a bit of uncertainty about "being given undeniable respect when it comes to Imps". I am not sure if I haven't paid enough attention throughout the comic, but I felt like they aren't given any respect at all. The only interaction between an Imp and another monster that I can think of is the skeleton scene with Nah Nah, where she isn't really treated with respect, from how I saw it at least.
I hope I didn't misread the situation or something, but it really felt more like Nah Nah stuck with the monsters because she doesn't have any better option.

That's what I meant when I said "being given undeniable respect" They're not given respect, and her point was to do something so big it would be undeniable that Imps are on the same level if not better than those who look down on them. Nah Nah like the rest of the imps are on the lower rungs and they are clawing their way up because respect equals power, and power means having a larger place in things.
