Ten of Swords: Ruin
The conventional image for this card is a man skewered by ten swords, which is a touch literal and a bit on the nose for my tastes. Modern ideas about ruin and disaster and endings come in so many different flavors, each unique to the person experiencing them, and what is more ruinous to a communal creature of the open air than an eternity alone underground?
Meaning wise, it's simple: this is a bad card. Bad things are happening, and worse may be coming. It's not insurmountable, because very little in life is, but it's as damn close as the average deck ever comes to it.
As always, if you like how these are coming along and want to help me make the entire deck a reality, visit my Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/jogauni_tarot) and consider making a pledge!
