Not so much a story here as it is more of a familial relation between my characters. So if you care about lore for my critters then this is for you! Otherwise this will just be a mess that you probably won't bother with.



Firstly the main family: The Bakers. Cordelia Baker (Formerly Cordelia Smith) has three puppies by her first husband (Who shall remain nameless as he was a scumbag) Todd, Danielle, and Alex. Due to some odd decision by the court she was given full custody of Todd and Danielle, while custody of Alex was given to his father and was raised separated from his siblings.
Cordelia is married to wealthy oil baron/businessman Stanley Baker. Stanley has a single biological daughter, Stephanie Baker. His first wife passed away shortly after Stephanie's second birthday. How he and Cordelia met was rather unorthodox, she was trying to find a new job to support her pups which led her to Stanley's office building. He was never one to hire somebody without meeting them and having a good conversation first aside from the standard interview. It was love at first sight, after a few months of courting the pair were married and are still madly in love to this day. Todd runs a small handyman/repair shop, (default job changes depending on what is needed at the time for stories/rps) Danielle is a scientist occasionally of the mad variety, and Stephanie works for her father as a collection agent with her best friend Darlene Kuscheln.


Secondary family: The Agapovs. Patriarch of the Agapov clan is Ivan. A gentle giant of a Russian bear. He is a true friend, but if you try to hurt one of his "little" girls... Let's just say it won't end well for you.
He is the mayor and owns and operates an orphanage (It's called that for simplicity's sake, it's more of a place to hold the children until a proper foster home can be found.). He has three daughters, well sort of. One is his niece Anya whom he raised after she lost her parents. The other two are Vera a polar bear who was more or less dropped off at his doorstep by a single mom who couldn't take care of her any longer. And it is a blessing for Galina that she was too young to remember why she was taken from her parents, as her father tried to cook her in a pot. While Galina and Vera don't have their eyes on any romantic partnerships at the moment, Anya used to date Todd Baker until a rather grisly incident...

Now the remainder of those covered here are not as close as the others, but show up with enough relevancy to be noted. Kichaa Uzuri: A lovely hippo. She is the sister of a friend's  KitoTheManedLigress character Kuponda Pumzi. At the time of this publication she is the girlfriend of Todd Baker, though it may not end well for either of them.
Jasmine Hutchinson is a leopardess widow with a single daughter Jamie. Jasmine was the high-school sweetheart of Cordelia Baker, while the two remained close through the years their romantic relationship just didn't work out after graduation. After that she found and married a black leopard much like herself and they had Jamie.
Riley Cook is a bhm wolf with a real sweet tooth and is a major sweet-heart who works for Jasmine and is Todd's best friend since the first grade. His folks moved away but he wanted to stay in Bakersville with his job and friends.
Darlene Kuscheln: A fit Doberman who is the best friend with occasional benefits of Stephanie. Moved to the states to get away from her vicious ex. The two had been online friends for a few years, and she is currently living with Todd platonically. As to why she and Stephanie don't live together: their lifestyles clash terribly for any sustained cohabitation. Darlene is a quiet neat-freak and Stephanie is loud and a bit of a slob, not in the personal hygiene way: her house is just filthy.
Samuel Hale: A skunk who was born without scent glands who works as a paranormal investigator, (Like Todd changes to whatever job may be needed) you will see him pop up from time to time usually the victim of some horrible death/injury. He was cursed during a paranormal investigation which left him unable to be properly killed. If his life is taken he simply respawns elsewhere away from danger, this will not apply for old age or a natural death from disease.

And of course the villains. What is an intriguing line up of good without some evil? In that department we have Todd's twin Alex, along with his partners in crime Heimrich Teufelshund a Rottweiler with a penchant for smuggling and furry (human?) trafficking/pimping, and Katili Mrembo a cruel lioness that sells folks off on the black market for their meat and parts. Though this trio lives far away from the sleepy town of Bakersville. But the citizens have a vile thing far closer to them, a wendigo.
The townsfolk don't know her name merely the dread she brings when she awakens. Before being converted into her nightmarish appearance in the 1800's she was a kind young doe named Wysteria Wight. She was doing a bit of cave exploring with her fiancé a very handsome buck. They brought enough food and water for the day, but there was a cave in. After two weeks they were near death, he succumbed first and she did the unspeakable... She started to eat his corpse. She was then cursed to be the monster she is now.
