Zarla and Ryan rode in the back of Floof's car a Volvo Estate, with Floof and Vix riding up front Ryan is quiet and reserved not really paying attention just looking out the window, watching the world quietly roll by Zarla more focused on a game seeing a conversation with Ryan was almost impossible, they soon arrive at the shelter and walk around Ryan looked at the dogs, most of which showed a lot of interest in wanting to be his friend and he gave them a good petting, but wasn't really taken by them as a friend, Zarla was more interested in a rather unique looking fox that was pitch black, she looked at them and they looked at her, Vix was inquiring about the fox Ryan and Floof looked around the cats, reptiles and rodents, but Ryan wasn't interested in any of them, they then entered a part that kept ferrets and one ferret stood out to Ryan, one that had a silver coat and it climbed up and looked at Ryan curiously barking at him, Ryan seemed fixated by this ferret and Floof watched him asking him ''you found a friend Ryan?'' Ryan is quiet and couldn't take his eyes off this ferret, Floof made the decision to make an inquiry if they were up for adoption and after some paperwork, Ryan officially found got a new friend the silver ferret and Zarla had a fox, the ferret being named Thunder and the fox was named Dani, both of them sat happily on their shoulders and for the first time in awhile Ryan smiled lovingly to his friend
