After reading a bit of Jan Hart's The Watercolor Artist's Guide to Exceptional Color and buying some colors I didn't realize I needed (but realized were obviously missing from my palette), I wanted to test out some new techniques and colors. After asking Twitter for a suggestion on a gryph, melo666 replied with a snowy owl/snow leopard. So here it is! Painting white things is so fun when you get to use lots of color :3

Kind of reminds me of what I heard the legendary pianist, Artur Rubinstein. once say... the goal should not be to just play an instrument with technical skill, but to truly sing through it. The same, I think, is true of art. You sing through your paintings.
