The first official picture of Incendramon and Placiramon together in my gallery, and I'm very excited to show it. There is also a poetic theme behind it, since it was one of the later pictures I got with the two seeing each other for the first time, and I asked my dear friend
Yarik to draw it, because it was through him that the updated designs ofmy Cendras, and Placiramons design in the first place, came to life.
It has been a long time now since the commissions we worked on to give shape and form to my characters were finished, yet I am not any less grateful for it. Working with him was a pleasure (while working with me probably wasn't as pleasant because I'm very pedantic with changes |D) and as a final send-off to the time we worked together, he was willing to do this artwork for me. I was and still am very happy with how it turned out.
Chapter 1:
With pain in his heart and revenge on his mind, the young dragon sought a master far to the east who would teach him how to fight, so he would become strong and bring the one who destroyed his life and family to justice. And when he found said master at his home, talking to him and convincing him pick up teaching again, their talk got suddenly interrupted.
Opening the slide door, a young light blue dragoness stood in the doorframe, asking the master something, which Incendramon failed to grasp and right afterwards, her gaze fell on him, as he already looked at her. For a moment, she seemed to examine him, yet he could not discern any reaction to his presence in her.
The moment stretched out, while both held eye contact and still, neither could make out any opinion about one another, other than surprise from Incendramons initial reaction.
After a few more moments, the dragoness simply looked back at her master, who finally answered her question quickly, and excusing herself, she closed the door again.
Unprompted, the master spoke up and told the dragon that the one living here with him was an orphan, he took in several years ago, as she wouldn't leave him alone and she had nowhere else to go.
Taking care of her for all these years, she did chores in the house but seemingly had no agency of her own or any ambition to do anything. And he knew naught about her origins.
The dragon nodded and their initial conversation continued, yet something about this dragoness kept nagging in his mind.
In the end, he was allowed to stay and train under him and he gave him a spare room in his house in the woods to rest in for the night.
(For those curious, the master in question is Daiyuramon)
