The scene is inspired by the Japanese series adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book (1989).
During a thunderstorm, part of the jungle caught fire, causing the wolf pack under their new leader Alexander to take refuge by the river.
On the way, however, the pack was intercepted by Sherekan the tiger, who wanted to use the chaos of the fire to demand the surrender of the human boy Mowgli, on whom Sherekan wanted to take revenge for earlier encounters with humans.
Alexander, who had adopted Mowgli as a father together with Luri, therefore faced Sherekan in battle, while the pack was able to escape together with his family. Alexander lost his life in this fight.
