Somewhat, but it's still cheaper than faux fur for "normal" fursuits. :)

Really? Do you have a supplier near you or did you have to have the material shipped to you? Seems like the cost for shipping it every time I've gotten it is just insane.

There are tons of places to buy PVC fabric. http://www.mjtrends.com/ is where I got this.

Er... for what? There's some hot glue in the head, since it's built from foam glued together. But I didn't glue the seams together, if that's what you mean. That's a terrible way to construct clothing.

It's fabric. With a PVC coating. So yes I did, since it's meant to be sewn like that. :)

This is an odd question but I've been researching stuff like this all day today and I just stumbled across this. I'm trying to figure out a way to make inflatable bladders for padding for one of my suits in order to make it more portable.

Is this latex stuff airtight in any way- can it be?

This PVC fabric isn't. To make air tight seams you need latex sheeting and special glue. http://www.mjtrends.com/tutorial,How-to-make-a-basic-latex-seam

ohhh, thanks for the link. I thought latex was really stretchy? or do different thicknesses make it stronger?

I don't know, I've never used latex. This is PVC coated fabric, very different stuff.

thicker grades of latex are stronger but less stretchy, thinner grades are stretchy but less durable
