I actually thought of some theories about this.
And biggest thing that comes to my mind is that she actually doesn't have a physical tail (because it would seriously get in a way of battle) since she cut it off,
but she has some hologram tail that shows like a real thing, just for show.
I'm rather inconclusive about this one though.
