Nice story! You should totally put this on Google Docs and submit it to Equestria Daily ( https://www.equestriadaily.com ); they're a bit anti-furry but also a hugely popular pony fan site. The muscley-ness (musculature?) isn't over the top here, so they'd definitely run it.

You do a great job making an original character who isn't a Sue, and who interacts with the main cast without warping their dynamic. I feel like she could fit into the show easily. This is new territory, too, a pony that's found their cutie mark but wants to do something else.

One small complaint I have is that Twilight seems to give up a bit fast--it seems like she should have a few more suggestions on what a strong pony might be able to do, with as well-read as she is. On the other hand, I can see her being a bit cross after Belle wastes the captain's time.

I sent Sethisto, the guy who run Equestria Daily, an e-mail last week pointing him to augiedogtales.blogspot.com, a site I started specifically to house my stories in what we might be a more neutral setting, but while he was really nice about it, he said his readers dislike stories that focus on "OC characters." I'm guessing "OC" stands for "original creations" or something like that...

So I'm working on a Pinkie Pie story for Monday's "WriteFriend/DrawFriend" event he's holding, and we'll see how that goes.

As for Twilight here, yeah, I was going for her being thrown off balance by Belle's reaction. So the opening of the next episode would be the next day and would have her rushing in with another idea for Belle's future only to see that Belle's already found Sal and the crows. Of course, that means I've got to write it now, doesn't it?

This is a delightful story. Yep. That settles it.
