Owl!Togekiss was fun, so here are its pre-evolutions. The "togepi" stage only lasts for a few days after hatching, the yellow head and ruffs are made of denser, fluffier feathers that help protect it from the extreme cold. It's first molt coincides with greater mobility and vastly expanded hunger in the "togetic" stage, though it still doesn't have proper wings to speak of. The long neck ruffs molt off at this stage but the ruffs on the chest are the last to go and sometimes look like little nubby arms.
