Been really inspired by SLARPG and just how much I relate to Melody. Unsure of myself, doing my best to help others...and wanting to be a hero at my core. It's played along with how I've felt playing Remnant 2, especially going through the Apocalypse difficulty. Every fight a struggle, mistakes punished. A grueling fight forward to the end goal of the run. Beating Annihilation. That last fight took hours of careful attention, all my effort gone to waste with just one too many mistakes. It was grueling, and I had to learn a lot about the game to keep going and keep faith that I would make it. When I finally did it and heard the song at the end, it just really felt validating! Sure it's just a video game...but I think I'm allowed to enjoy these feelings.
