Original Species: Greater Ulurian Lash-Tongue
The Greater Ulurian Lash-Tongue is a massive reptile native to the dense forests on the continent of Uluria. This bulky beast is an ambush predator that usually lays in wait for prey to approach within range of its powerful tongue. Much like with Earth's chameleons, the Lash-Tongue's tongue is covered with very sticky saliva that aids in catching prey. Typical victims of the Lash-Tongue are rather small in size, up to human-sized. While hunting, this devious hunter will make sure to devour as many small animals as it possibly can, which will be followed by several days or even weeks of inactivity as it saves energy for any future emergencies.
