There are nights when memories overlay your senses in strange ways. Whether it's somber or wistful, what's real and what you remember or imagine blur. It's as if reality bends and ripples like looking through the water's surface to reveal distorted reflections of nightmares and dreamscapes. Sometimes you see what you fear and sometimes you see what you long for most. You almost want to reach out and touch it, make contact with that vision you so desperately want to embrace. Yet the more reach for it, the more it blurs and eludes you. Don't give up though. A dream you can get a clear glimpse of, even for a moment, is there with you. A silent companion. Hope and tenacity may one day bridge that gap. So when you do peer into that depthless, ephemeral wellspring, take a good a look as long as you can. If you can still feel so much longing for it that it hurts, then you know the passion and the dream aren't gone but simply waiting quietly looking back at you seeking the same thing you are.

This is a concept for a title screen or cover art for Project Snowdog. It's another gorgeous piece done by
thepipefox that captures the more moody and thoughtful side to the story and characters. It features Kit longing for Kayla, two of the central characters beneath a skyship and a moon cracked into pieces. Like all good cover art, it hints at a ton of story and lore with minimal context. I hope it draws you in even just a little as that is the ideal I'm hoping for.
