This book completes the trilogy about Chakona, its inhabitants, the interaction of the chakats with some humans, skunktaurs and other races, such as the renzar and the rakshanis. All framed within the universe created by  Goldfur It's been almost two years of continuous work and it's fair to mention such important people  sethtriggs  Marksan  Wolfbane115 and all the people from Tales de Chakona Discord for fans.

CHAPTER 10

The next morning, Chakastra loomed in all its splendor behind the mountains that flank Amistad to the east, announcing that it would be a hot day.

However, a fresh and pleasant wind infiltrated the bay, carrying the unmistakable aroma of the sea.

Lorel's golden hair fluttered in the wind as Shi and hys two companions, Liner and Gret, left the house for the beach.

"Mmmm… I love the morning breeze" commented the chakat as shi stretched out in the middle of the street.

"Me too. Something only coastal cities like Amistad can offer" Liner added, smoothing hys braided hair.

"Meh… I like the smell of the woods more, and the vegetation" added Gret yawning.

"Heh heh… We know, darling. But don't worry. When we go on vacation we'll go to a wooded area in Chakona" Lorel replied giving the thickest and stockiest Chakat of the clan an affectionate kiss on the cheek.

"Okay. Are we going on the VTP or walking?" Liner suddenly inquired.

"It's still early for the time Lorna indicated. Let's walk. This way we'll give the others time and at the same time, tone our muscles for the game" Lorel said.

"Okay! I'm very excited. I haven't played volleyball in a long time. I just hope to be a contribution to the team hehe"

"You'll do well Liner. And you, Gret? Still haven't decided to play?" Lorel stated stroking Gret's hair.

"Nah… Jumping and running after a ball is something I haven't done since I was a puppy. I prefer to watch how you sweat while I enjoy the beach quietly" shi replied.

"Hmmm… Maybe you should sweat a bit too. You'll lose some weight" Liner said wryly.

"Come on honey. You love this thick body, don't you?" Gret replied closing one eye.

"Prrrr… Yes! I adore you my chubby kitty" declared Liner hugging hym and biting one of hys ears. The three chakats took their light bags and headed together for the public play area on the beach, which was not far away.

Play spaces in the sand and dressing rooms were open when Chakat Lorna arrived at Amistad Beach. Shi had two large handbags with hym. A chakat municipal employee rushed to welcome hym.

"Good morning Shir. You are the daughter of Shir Barelius, right?"

"Yes, it's me. Looks like I'm just in time"

"That's right. In another half hour, people will start arriving. It's good that you arrived early. That way you'll have the right to occupy the court with your friends for a longer time"

"Yay! Thank you very much Shir" Lorna said wagging hys tail. The chakat arranged the bags on a bench at the entrance to the dressing room. At that moment a group of three people approached hym.

"Good morning Lorna. Looks like we're here at a good time" One of them said. Raising hys head, the chakat saw hys boss Serenity approaching along with a human and a female-phased skunktaur.

"Serenity! you came!" Lorna exclaimed receiving hym with a hug.

"Of course! I always keep my commitments heh heh heh"

"And as promised, I brought a player for Esteban's team. Lorna, this is my lifemate Travis Archer."

"Nice to meet you personally Travis, the man who saved my friend." Lorna said giving him a warm hug.

"The pleasure is mine, Lorna. Yes, I helped Esteban, but who really saved us that day, was that skunktaur Ugkar"

"But this time, you arrived in time to help hys friend, as you told us" suddenly interrupted the skunktaur that was accompanying them.

"True"

"Wow, the things of destiny. Hello. My name is Baiyoshai. Nice to meet you" Said the skunktaur stretching out hys hand. Lorna shook hym, noting that Baiyoshai was visually blind."

"Nice to meet you Shir. Wow… I thought you could play for the skunktaur team, but…"

"Wait dear, will there be a team of skunktaurs too?" Baiyoshai interrupted excitedly.

"Er… Yes, but…"

"I'm in!" the skunktaur said. Serenity and Travis looked at hym in surprise.

“Baiyoshai, are you sure?” Inquired the human putting a hand on hys shoulder.

"Travis Archer… How long have we been together and you still don't know me well" Said Baiyoshai crossing hys arms.

"Okay honey. This will be great!" Added Serenity.

"Yes! the skunktaurs were missing a player and with you they are complete. Thank you Baiyoshai!" Lorna said excitedly.

After passing by Trend's house and picking up the local police chief renzar, Regthar along with Sorah and Hajo parked the vehicle at the edge of the street facing the beach, in a special parking space. Behind them, the Lilethe VTP arrived, carrying Doren, Vera, Jhonny, Rena, Holly and the puppies Cora and Teo inside. They all descended at the same time, noting that Lorna, and Serenity's group had already arrived.

"Well, it'll be fun to move the body for a bit," Trend said as he helped Sorah and Hajo down from the VTP.

“Thank you Trend. It's a shame your wife didn't come." Sorah said.

“Heh heh… You know her. She has the social life apart. Though I wouldn't be surprised if she comes after. Gemma is very unpredictable."

"Yes, I know" reaffirmed the female.

"Look, there's Lorna" Jhonny said.

"Yes. It's shi. Let's go!" Vera added approaching them.

“Lilethe, I haven't seen Esteban yet. Will he have arrived?" Rena suddenly asked, as she settled one of her puppies on her back.

“Don't worry about him. He must still come trotting. You know he likes to run” Lilethe nonchalantly replied.

All the newcomers approached the place where Lorna and Serenity's group were. After greeting each other and making the required introductions, Lorna told them which court they were going to occupy.

“Welcome everyone. Thanks for participating. To give this game more formality, I had some numbered sports shirts made for each team. The chakats will use the red one. The humans, the green one” Lorna announced enthusiastically as shi took out the outfits from the bags and handed them out to those present.

At that moment, Chakat Lorel, along with Liner and Gret, arrived at the place, also receiving their respective shirts.

"Oh they are very nice Lorna, thank you... Prrrr, I love it" Lorel said.

"I'm wondering the same. This gives us more sense of team” added Serenity.

"This is going to be good" Jhonny commented in turn excited by the game.

Regthar, along with Sorah, Hajo and Trend, stood in the audience area. Along with them, Ulk also arrived, dressed in a skimpy bathing suit.

“Grrr… Hi everyone. I wasn't late, was I?"

"No friend, you arrived on time" Regthar answered. Sorah giggled a little at seeing him dressed in such scant clothing.

"Are you looking for a mate or something, Ulk?" the female asked sarcastically.

"Oh, Sorah. You look as beautiful as ever, heh heh heh. I just plan to enjoy the beach” The renzar replied. Regthar, somewhat uncomfortable by the dialogue, stood up and went directly to the dressing rooms located a few meters away.

"What's wrong with your husband?" Trend asked.

“He went to put on his swimsuit to compete with Ulk. I know him,” Sorah replied quietly.

“Heh heh… Wow. Regthar doesn't change, right?"

“And what about you Trend, aren't you going to compete too?”

"I don't have to undress to show that I'm the best renzar in this place" Said the male, and then burst into simultaneous laughter with the female.

After a long jog from the house, Esteban finally reached the sports courts on the beach. At the entrance, he bumped into Mark Sanders and his wives Emily Wildstyle and Delfina Alessia Jones, the other human in the group, who had also just arrived.

Mark! Delfina! Good to see you. Thanks for coming"

"Esteban! I'm wondering the same. You look good after everything you've been through."

"Thanks friend".

“A pleasure to see you again Esteban. It's been a long time” Delfina replied at once, giving her a kiss on the cheek. Emily, for hys part, greeted with a hug.

"Thank you. As I see, Lorna has organized everything very well. Shi brought colored jerseys for the teams.”

“Hmm… I don't understand the purpose, since both teams will be separated by the net anyway” Mark commented.

“Come on honey, it'll be fun anyway. You better change. You won't play in long pants, will you?" Delfina replied.

“You should change too” replied the man.

“Heh… I already have my swimsuit on. So hurry up ”insisted the woman, as she took off her clothes, leaving her dressed only in an attractive bikini. Esteban was surprised, he blushed slightly when he saw her, but he quickly went to where Lorna and the rest of the chakats were getting ready to play.

As Lorna and Serenity discussed game strategies, Federation Lieutenant Blackspots materialized, teleporting from the space station orbiting Chakona. Everyone was surprised to see that the chakat had a tiny swim bra on hys torso that revealed a large part of hys voluminous breasts.

"Greetings, Lorna, Esteban."

“Meo!… Thanks for coming Lieutenant Blackspots” Lorna greeted.

"It's a pleasure to see you again Shir" Esteban said in turn waving hands.

While the chakats gathered in a circle again to agree on the basics of the game, Esteban organized the humans, Travis, Mark, Delfina and Jhonny, bringing them the green shirts that Lorna had brought.

“Well, thank you all for participating. Mark, Delfina, you already know my colleague Jhonny Carruthers. I want to introduce you to Travis Archer. He was the person who saved my life last time."

“I just did what I had to do, kid. It's a pleasure to meet you all” Travis replied shaking hands with each one.

"Good. So… From what I see, none of us have much practice in this game” Mark said suddenly “

“The basic rules are simple. They haven't changed in centuries. The serve is direct to the opposing team. And during the game, three strokes maximum, and on the third, dispatch the ball to the rival. Try to block the rivets as much as possible. I think we have a certain physical advantage over them” Jhonny explained.

“I don't think we have any physical advantages over them, believe me boy,” Mark said, taking a more cool look at the situation.

“Serenity and Blackspots will be ahead. Since they are a bit taller, they will be able to block more easily. Lorel and Liner back, to receive the ball and lift it. I will be multifunctional, in the middle of the field” Lorna said seriously. Everyone nodded and put on their respective shirts:
1 Blackspots, 2 Serenity, 3 Lorna, 4 Lorel, 5 Liner. Meanwhile, on the rival team, the players were spread out with 1 Mark and 2 Jhonny up front. To the center 3 Esteban. Back, 4 Delfina and 5 Travis.

After distributing themselves to their respective fields of play, Lorna and Esteban looked at each other wondering if Gerak-Nee would arrive for the role of neutral referee. The engineers were beginning to lose hope when suddenly an athletic rakshani, wearing only shorts, walked slowly onto the playing field. Everyone turned to see him surprised. His fur shone in the daylight, giving him a certain air of majesty. His thick tail swung gracefully from side to side with each step.

“Gerak! Did you come!" Lorna exclaimed, lunging at him.

“Grrr… Calm down quadruped. Don't make me regret it ”Answered the grumpy military engineer, while he greeted everyone with a simple wave of his hand.

“Here, this is the judge's whistle. I imagine you know the rules…” The chakat said.

“Yes, yes… I studied everything very well. Don't worry. Just obey me” replied the rakshani, before sitting down on the chair, arranged at the edge of the net.

Everything was ready to start. The renzar and skunktaurs sat at the edge of the playing field, watching the match. Cora and Teo played with little Hajo. Emily, suffocating from the heat, decided to start digging a hole in the sand to cool off, meanwhile, the players were in their positions, waiting for Gerak's order to start.
