Mariaan is a Nidoqueen/Gardevoir hybrid with a heck of a thick tail and quite enjoys using gravity related magics and abilities to not only help her training but also with her fighting. Doing things like drastically increasing the weight of her tail to make Tail Whip do more than merely lower her opponent's defense~
The intention behind Mariaan is for her to be something of a play on the "muscle mage" archetype. Good and strong physically, but also a heck of a powerful mage too ^^
Pokemon, Nidoqueen, and Gardevoir belong to Nintendo and Game Freak

Yeah that's part of why I went with Nidoqueen/Gardevoir ^^
Knew I wanted a Nidoqueen base but couldn't settle on one of quite a-few options I was considering. Then I started thinking on what the other species could bring to the table beyond appearance and gravity based magic from Gardevoir very nicely slid into place.

I don't fully get the idea of Pokémon fusions, but I certainly don't mind them! That said, I'm kind of sick of regular Gardevoirs because of how oversaturated they are. They're like the wolves of the furry fandom isn't there so many of them that they don't have as much appeal to me, although that does not impact fusions.
I enjoy Nidoqueen a lot more as a macro. She's got a lot of scales looks pretty cool and is extremely thicc.

Fusions are just lots of fun designing and coming up with how abilities may mix too ^^
Annnd sometimes it ends up turning out that they don't work, though. (there's been a-couple I've tried that no matter what I did they just didn't work).
And won't deny the Gardevoir is pretty minimal with Mariaan here, present mostly in the hair and chest spike and her abilities ^^;
Gardevoir is one of those odd ones for me... I do like them, but for the longest time I hung back from them because of that oversaturation. But I also get the impression Gardevoir has fallen off in extreme popularity over the years? Zoroark, Umbreon, Lucario (especially Lucario), Charizard... They've all got Gardevoir beat pretty handedly in terms of search results and there's quite a-few others that are nearly even.
Oh and Mariaan is indeed actually a macro! ~3,000 miles in her setting. ^^

Zoroark and Charizard are quite great to me, although I still prefer Dragonite over Charizard personally. Lucario is good to me, but not necessarily great as a base Pokémon to give the size treatment but I certainly like them. Look at how much I like Torse! [ I probably s spelled her name wrong but I'm sure you know what I mean].
