Since returning to the fandom I’ve struggled with my fursona. Alesia was more or less that for most of my time as a furry in the aughts, but I felt like maybe I was centering my mixed-race heritage too much in my day-to-day life and I wanted to try something new, so I adopted the leopard I’ve been using lately.
But I struggled with understanding that fursona- what does she like, what does she do? It felt like there was an aspirational and personal element that was missing… Redrawing and updating Alesia, I felt so… excited, engaged, happy again. So. Here she is! My fursona, Alesia, with some updates to reflect my recent sensibilities. :)
