"Am I interupting something."
It was Zonos. Gyako suddenly realising the position he was in got up immediately all red in the face.
"Zonos!" he nervously said, "I didn't expect you to be there. I wasn't doing anything I was just making sure that she wouldn't escape. Yeah, she's not going anywhere aheh heh."
"... ok."
"How did you find us anyways?" Gyako questioned.
"You two didn't stray off the path," Zonos pointed out, "it was also well lit with all the fire."
"Oh," Gyako said looking around at a few charred trees and bushes.
"You also left this behind," Zonos said pulling out Gyako's sachel.
"Oh crap thanks, I forgot about this," he responded gratefully putting it around his neck, "I would've gotten lost without this."
"Also" Zonos not yet finished with revealing things said as he pulled from behind him an absoluelty enormous green fish, "I caught this..."
The two cats were dumbfounded.
"H-how?!" asked a very shocked and confused Gyako.
"I'm really good at fishing..."
"But... how, I thought I scared all the other fish away."
"I got lucky.."
"Okay then," Gyako said not wanting to understand where or how Zonos managed to get this trophy of a fish. He looked up at the sky and realised how much time had passed.
"Well I guess that's dinner sorted and it might last us until we reach town."
"I'll start a campfire then," Zonos said as he headed towards some very convient downed logs, "What are you gonna do with her."
Gyako looked at the red cat on the ground. She had some puppy dog eyes trying to guilt Gyako. And it worked.
"She could join us," he replied to Zonos.
"You two became friends quick."
"I guess."
Gyako reached out to help the red cat up.
"Asking me out to dinner, my you really know how to treat a lady," she teased.
"Hey!" Gyako said all flustered, "we didn't do anything okay, now grab my hand so I can help you up."
"My my what a gentlecat."
"Stop it!"
Gyako helped the red cat up and the two of then proceeded to the campsite the Zonos made.
"By the way," Gyako said, "I didn't catch your name."
"Oh, the name's Taiyka," the red cat said furiously shaking his paw, "Nice to meet-cha!"
