What's going on in this pic?

From what I understood, the guests were transformed into other species, and Higgs is turning them back to normal.

At one time,  penn held Gryphon Month (in February) where he drew a lot of gryphon pictures.
Others, including I, found that fun and id our own celebrations, including making our own gryphon formes.
On February 28, he made this above picture where Higgs reverted the gryphon formes of most participants back to their original formes. Maybe he though tha the celebrations were getting out of hand, or maybe that was just his way of saying that Gryphon Month is over.
Oddly, I ended up missing this by accident. I was a Ridiculous Procrastinator, which mean that I did not make a Gryphon Month picture by that point. However, I also Failed a Spot Check: 2012 was a leap year, which mean that I had 1 more day.
