The Lions of Asia (Hero Forge): Liu and Ryo - 4,700th Sub.
Two major international counterparts of Leo the Patriotic Lion here. Liu the Confucian Lion (China) stands next to Ryo the Samurai Lion (Japan); while the former (in my universe) now serves as President of the PRC (People's Republic of China), the latter remains just an ambassador to the United States. It isn't uncommon, however, for the Japanese government (known as the Diet) to consult with Ryo on certain matters, since they see him as a voice of reason. Some have even viewed him as higher in power and authority than the Japanese royal family. (I guess you can be the judge of that.)

Neon Blade: While it is true that Ryo is seen as Japan's voice of reason, he is not seen as higher than the Japanese royal family. He is highly respected, especially as a samurai. He's also our ambassador to America as well.
Chuong: Funny how Chinese restaurants in Japan have very similar menu items to Japanese restaurants.
Yamazaki: That's because a significant part of Japanese cuisine as we know of it today have Chinese roots. Ramen, gyoza, robata, and many others are based on China's dishes. That's also why they look similar.

Ryo: I don't see myself above the royal family either, but some citizens have told me that they do. I think they were confused about the comments the late King Abdullah made when you were recovering from the gunshot wound.
