Everyone goes through a bad phase at some point in their lives, but last November started one of the worst for me, after I got sick and couldn’t reach out to any of my friends for a weekend. And that entire phase continued for three months, all the way up until late February of this year.

About halfway through that phase though, I met Vex. I possibly could consider it a late Christmas present to meet and be friends with such a wonderful animator, and he was always fun to talk to! But there was one thing that he did that may have changed my mindset for the better.

The reason I got in such a bad rut was because I felt like my friends had abandoned me, even though that was far from the truth. However, with one of Vex’s animations, the way it was presented made me learn a very valuable lesson.

Our friends are always here with us, no matter what.

And just like that, the worst phase of my life has been put down. Depression, fear, anger, mental fatigue, and even thoughts of self harm, all put to an end thanks to Vex. And I truly can’t thank him enough. I wouldn’t be in as good a place today if it wasn’t for him, and his animation Falling Skywards.

Just like  Hakunaro, I’ll forever hold  Vexorum close to my heart.
