Noah: Anyway, To be truthful, Liberty City wasn't always like this...before it truned into a city that is good, it use to be like the movie Vigilante.
Mithane: oh my, such an improvement! Perhaps I could assist you as a "superhero"? Noah: Krypto Help put the city back together but the only thing that hits me is worlds crime lord is that damn tiger... Shere Khan. Mithane: wait Kahn? Khan industries? Noah: That’s right. Mithane: that's one company I refuse to deal with. Noah: Let’s say he reminds me of the Crime Syndicate of Earth-Three. Which is why we're here.
There are others that's almost the same as this one but different. This is world, Shere Khan is a business man who the people thinks. But to me & Krypto, is a kingpin, an Crime Lord who will do anything to hold this city as his own. Kinda like Lex Luther of Superman. Mithane: I see. Noah: And like him & unlike him, he doesn't get in to deep. Not his way; he rules Liberty City...& this is before I we (me, Krypto, And other like us) came to this city. Mithane: crime lords are that way.
Mithane: yes his influence is spread far throughout the city.
Noah: But like the movie the justice league crisis on two earths, Krypto came to Earth form Krypton & it wasn't long that he cleaned the city of its crime. Mithane: *lets Noah continue*. Noah: He's done a wonderful job but still; it was hard. Taking him down isn’t easy. But after months of trying, a new super hero came…one who’s magic & mythic powers beyond anything know to mortals. That magic & mythic force is me…Jennova the wolf of magic & mythic sorcery. After a year of battle to get rid of him, it happened. Because of Liberty City’s upraise & the proof, he was arrested &…*sigh* executed.
Of cores the city is still as it was when he ruled it but still, the city is free from depression & because of it, Me & Superdog were seen by the city as heroes. Even Aurora, my love, saw me as a hero. And that’s how it all began, in a short but clearing way. Mithane: Wow, I’m amazed, I didn’t know. Noah: That’s all in the past & I’m just happy something like this & someone him will never happen again. Well, we better get going, don’t want to miss the Metropolis Annual Ball. Mithane: Good idea.

You might be interested that http://www.kickstarter.com/projects.....city-of-titans is happening. The old City of Hero's community never gave up and it looks like they will be making a spiritual successor. They are working on this game for free AFTER their jobs, the money is for tools like Autodesk Maya and 3dStudiomax. 130k since it opened this morning and going strong currently averaging nearly $140 per backer. Spread the word :3.

Aye, check out the linkie. It's being developed by members of the community who took it upon themselves to make it in their spare time after work (essentially taking on an unpaid second job, they don't get paid for this). The kick starter is solely for development tools, graphics engine, etc. Read the kickstarter for more info, it's pretty in depth. War Witch and Positron apparently both backed it already.
Keep in mind the video shown was cobbled together ASAP when Kickstarter requested one. Game isn't in a state to have a gameplay video yet, that is what the kickstarter is for :D.
