My dearest friend, E-quahlo of DA, is having a very rough time right now. For here very soon is the anniversary of her father's passing. This is the fourth year in a row I'll have spent this hard time of year with her, and each year I try to make it if only a little bit more easy on her.

My dear sister. It's never easy, remembering those we loved whom passed. Believe me I know. But we also need to remember...all the good moments we had with them. Even if it's a simple, good ol' fashioned bear hug. I'm sure that your papa bear, up in heaven, is smiling as he watches over you. And I know you'll argue with me when I say that I'm sure he's proud of the woman you are, as you often do. But just know that your Papa loved you, and still loved you, for who you are. Just as I do. :heart:
