let's start with a little back story
back when i was big into the fandom, i was making a reference sheet (text) for my fursona. as i reached about the 8th page of details i decided to turn it into a story about how my fursona acquired those characteristics (like being able to transform between a wolf and a human form). so a 30 chapter adventure began!
this story is going to be roughly 30 chapters long with a mixture of different genres (science fiction, fantasy, horror, modernism). that mixture combined with my writing style ( a mix between dark romanticism, gothic horror, and the macabre), creates a stark reflection of my life and the things i have experienced blended into a world more sinister and horrifyingly disturbing then the one we live in today.
please enjoy the read and please leave feedback, it's very much appreciated ^_^

Hi! Thanks for converting it to a friendlier file format.
You've got some incredibly vivid imagery! I really like the first line (though it took me until the second pass to realize the character was talking about his mother, not a lover). The descriptions of the storms and the forest and the character's memories of his mother did an excellent job of pulling me in. This is a story I would continue reading.
There were two things that stood out for me as a little weird ... the first was the narrator's complete change of heart about hunting after being rescued from the river. I could see it - it's certainly plausible that he would have given in out of gratitude - but a few more lines about his decision, or his mental state, would smooth out that transition. I want to understand what drove him there.
The second is - okay, clearly this isn't set in my American culture in my Earth, so it's dangerous for me to draw in those expectations. But hunters eating wolf meat? That's a shock. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolf_hunting#Meat If eating wolves is something that commonly happens where your narrator grew up, it needs to be foreshadowed or explained for the benefit of us earthlings.

i wasn't very good at hinting at it but, you are supposed to get the idea that the hunter is starving, due to the fact that he is in a derelict campsite.
and as for the the hunting. (it may because i just woke up as to why your it confused me x3). but he explained that he told his mother that he didn't want to hunt in a "childish rage". but as for wolves in IRL nature there is a time they have to hunt regardless if they want to or not, they have to survive. but the reason he agreed to so easily was because.. well.. if you almost drowned wouldn't you be exhausted and agree to anything? x3
is there anything else you would like to know? :3
