Original Species: Feligris
The Feligris is the smaller relative of the massive Arcadian Felirex. These astounding felines have intelligence and a level of sapience comparable both to humanoids and true dragons. Due to this, it is possible to interact with these creatures in a peaceful manner. Much like the aforementioned true dragons, they follow a certain "code of conduct" which prevents them from hunting and consuming other sapient creatures.
These felines have the capacity to learn humanoid and draconic languages, as well as certain forms of magic (primarily illusory and ability-enhancing spells). Research conducted on the Feligris species can thusly be executed via interviews and information exchange, making them one of the easiest species to study. As long as they don't feel threatened or as long as no harm befalls them, they are quite cooperative.
The summary of the thus far conducted research gives the following basic information on the ecology of the Feligris:
- they are active primarily from dusk till dawn, as to avoid competition from the diurnal dragons and dinosaurs;
- they prefer to hunt prey that is either smaller or the same size as them (favorite prey includes Green Dryus and Gazelles);
- among themselves, they prefer to lead a mostly solitary lifestyle, meeting up either by chance or for mating purposes;
- some individuals have been known to make pacts with true dragons where they are allowed to inhabit their dens in exchange for keeping the den free from rodents and other pests (note: they refuse to call it a pet-owner relationship or a subservient relationship, rather a mutual living arrangement);
