The lack of blush (like on Page 122) makes me think this is "barely restrained murder impulse" instead of "intrusive scav thoughts", though. ^_^;;
Of course overhearing just the right conversation at just the right time would do it, but even that's unlikely considering how closely this secret is being kept. Especially in a certain enclave and from a certain other patriarch.
This brings up the possibility that Beizel has another source, in which case he just might know more about the situation than anyone else, including Vizlet, Narklet and even Kass himself.
The Head Surgeon figured it out simply by the fact that there is both a Human and a Yinglet named Kass listed as Ivenmoth personnel and they disappeared/appeared around the same time. Beizel being the master spy he is may have seen the same list.
There is also the fact he's probably seen how unladylike Kass is while in Val'Salia, Vizlet has probably had him keep an eye on Kass since the incident with Brakka.
Even Lopin didn't realize the air vent tunnels could be used for yinglets to travel (He thought they were just holes), so it's highly likely that the people in the House that know the secret are also unaware of the possibility, and not taking steps to prevent someone in them from overhearing.
I still think it's unlikely, but your theory definitely makes the most sense so far.
Actually, I just noticed that on that page, he's discussing what he learned from overhearing Lopin's testimony, in the same conversation where Kass explained what Zhat Zhing did, so that's likely when he discovered it. It could be that Vizlet told him and he wasn't sure he believed it, but was willing to go along with it the same way Vizlet was willing to go along with Viracroix's "plan" when she thought it was fake.

If he wasn't so good at what he does I don't think Vizlet would tolerate the shit he gets away with.
He has to know given he's the spymaster. Poor Kass getting emotions out then getting hit by another emotion truck with Beizel messing with her like this.
I am so, so grateful that Kass is open to talking with Viz about all this. She just needs more time with all the trauma she's been through.
Grateful Kass has such amazing friends to help her deal with all of it.
Course, I am not saying that Beizel does not wanna nail Kass good and proper eather.
And I'm willing to bet a lot of us have at least heard about 'exposure therapy' but I highly doubt that will work with Kass's problems.

I've noticed that you can sometimes even get in extra votes from different IP addresses, or if you're disconnected from your IP and open up again later.

Why are those last two panels so hot and why do I kinda ship it at least for exploration?
Such strong undertones of "I know everything", while also being so well hidden as direct and unapologetical flirting, that those who don't know will remain blissfully unaware of the overall situation.
Oh, Ran would've loved to be present to witness Beizel's masterful teasing, although I'm not sure the world would survive a friendship forming between the two, haha.
Also, yay for Pekkit getting trusted with more books! She's going to have a wonderful time reading and learning everything, I'm sure.
In summary; Valsalia's worldbuilding is amazing. <3
I can't wait to see how it pans out in the comic, but with the amount of books she got to borrow, I just don't know if we'll see much of Pekkit for a while, haha.
Tbh, that is how Kass functions - kinda like the time Elm asked him if he'd figured out how peeing worked - just "NOPE" into a different situation ASAP.

We've already established that Yings are attracted to strength, and to whatever can provide them with protection. While I haven't seen any evidence of Beizel being physically strong, I think we can all expect him to be just as dangerous in combat.
Basically what I'm wondering is: What part of Kass' mind is "he called me a LADY I'm not a LADY" and what part is "oh no he's hot"?
Kass doesn't have the blush seen on Page 122 when Elim took off his shirt. So my guess is that this is more "barely restrained murder impulse" than "intrusive scav thoughts". Also, he might be putting this in context of his discussion with Vizlet and having a train of thought along the lines of "I nearly got eggnant from Brakka and gang, male yinglets can do that to me, this is a male yinglet offering to do that to me, no no nonONONO!"

...but all that could be true and he could still get off on making Kass stammer like a cutie.
Both's Beizel's inteligence (information gathering and memory) and his colours (he's all black so has natural camouflage in the dark) make him practically born to be stealthy and a spymaster.
(Ofc this can go horribly wrong. Vizlet & Figgins produced hyper-intelligent offspring but they're all riddled with mental problems because they think too much - Lippie being one example. Vizlet however thinks it might be her age that caused this.)

Rather unfortunate for Kass as that's truly how all the patriarchs will see him: as a female. Even Beizel, who knows otherwise but I don't doubt that what he says and how he feels is sincere.
