This is a one-of-a-kind hand-made model of "Quick Draw's" (my grandfather) welding machine from the GM Fisher Body plant in Chicago, IL over 25 years ago. He built this model out of scrap steel from the plant's die cutters and a toy car axle. If you look closely, you can see that he even made copies of the actual dials on the machine. He had an old Polaroid photo of the real machine, but we lost the photo at one of the engine shows we went because it blew away :(
