The late 80's early 90's weren't all that colourful. We were a bit less neon than this but I totally dig the effort and style. Neon was more of an accessory to add to what you were already wearing. Look at Debbie Gibson or Samantha Fox for some inspiration of how we dressed. Look at 80's and 90's TV shows, Hardly any neon in sight except for a bit here and there.
It wasn't? o.o I mean I've seen some whacky clothing watching Jem and the Holograms and Barbie and the Rockers, they were always sporting the bright colors. I grew up in the 80s and 90s, and maybe it was different for you but that's what I remember seeing, the 90s especially having that kind of clothing with the sneakers and rapper kind of clothes, like the Fresh Prince of Belair. That's what I remember.
