Hey, speaking do punk and grunge...
Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne, Creed, 3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Green Day and the Offspring are all terrible. Literally all MTV did was label her as "punk" and "grunge" so people would be deceived into thinking that what they listened to was "fresh". They wanted to make up for as many abysmal role models as they could by making bands/artists who seemed like they'd rebel against authority, only for MTV and Clear Channel to control them.
