I read a book recently, which is rare for me... even rarer is that I finish reading in less than 3 days, and compelling me to make fan art of the characters of how obsessed I got with them.

The book is The Mark of Amulii and I think it's a legit good story with a dozen moments like this and others that are much hotter, let's say (...I might do one or other at some point, heh). Despite that, no, the book isn't just sex happening back and forth, it has several moments of genuine love, drama, and some dreadful moments that literally keep me awake through the whole night by the end of the story.

it's not perfect of course, I think some moments are a bit too easily resolved and more them once I was like "Did I miss a whole chapter here?", but regardless of that, the book knows its audience and it definitely pushes my buttons. I'm god damm suker for the "beauty and the beast" trope and I was yearning for a story like this for so some time.

Funny enough, despite the content that I do here would make you imagine, I don't necessarily like the omega verse, A/B/O kinda deal, save one or two comics. So it's nice to have an original idea to boot.
