A little known fact about Chanticleer Bluth (born Williams) was that he was on his high school's baseball team during his junior year. Despite singing being his favorite activity (he was in the fall musical the previous semester), he also likes baseball. With him reaching 6'2" by age 16, he was instantly made right fielder upon making the cut. His incredible reflexes (and also the fact that he was unknowingly tapping into the Force) allowed him to easily catch fly balls and make quick plays. Because of this, he was given the nickname of "Clutch" because he came in clutch to score outs for the Polk Polecats.

Here, we see Chanticleer at age 16 in March 1947, blowing a bubble while he's on deck to bat. The bubble is a little over 5 feet in height, and slightly less than that in diameter. He's hoping he can score a run for the Polecats against their arch-rivals, the Crockett Cougars.
