Probably one of my favorite Pokemon; Nidoking. In a sad world where I can't have Venusaur, Nidoking might be my ace if I'm doing a Gen 1 run. With how early Nidoran evolves into Nidorino and how quickly you then get a Moon Stone, Nidoking (and Nidoqueen) is an easy pick for any team and can really carry you through most of the game if you let it.
