That's really neat! I'm curious for whatever you're willing to share about the technical details of how it works...blendshapes? animating the masks of displacement maps? I'm curious about how it's implemented!

Yes it is indeed blendshapes only in zbrush that work there as layers recording the state of changes in the model.

Wow! From my experience working with layers in zbrush, that must be tedious, and layers get a little laggy with a lot of subdivisions. It's cool that you got that to work! I didn't realize you could turn layers into an animation in zbrush. I can also imagine maybe baking them as maps for a retopologized mesh so it could have other animations going on with an armature at the same time the model is changing. Anyway, the TF is hot~

I imagine her post-tf getting pissed off about not being told what the suit does.
She's trying to scream about it, but her new mouth shape makes that hard, so it's just a lot of angry gestures and monster noises.

It's a shame that it would be difficult to animate such emotions in this program, but they are definitely worth it.

Seems like a pleasant transformation compared to the Technocyte Virus (trace similarities to the T-virus in Resident Evil... although wildly different in final result) that started in Prototype, continued into Dark Sector, then Warframe.

In the origins of Warframe, the transformations were mind-bendingly painful, gruesome and if you dug deep enough into the games Lore... laced full of gore, suffering with traces of regret, revenge and a bitter sweet victory; leading to a story line that continually repeats this vicious cycle.

I am curious though... does your Universe have a History as to how your creations came to be, what sparked societies desire for these extreme changes whether voluntary or not? I've wondered that ever since I discovered your gallery years ago.
