Laura and Lilia (shiny one) the Latias' has put Lucus, Hilton the houndoom and Max the Manectric in the play pen for a nap though it seems like Max wants to play quietly a bit more first.
This is the coloured in, modified and expanded sketch commissioned as a group with Marrymightyena (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/marrymightyena/) from Bougie (www.furaffinity.net/user/adwdw…)
There were quite a few changes I and MiketheManectric ended up wanting half way which through colouring this such as: toys scattered around, redoing Manectric's face (looks much better now) and a taller fence.
The fence is in this one is much taller to stop little ones from wondering off / escaping where as the origional was smaller and cuter. With these changes I decided that I will do two versions; one that was coloured and slightly tweaked and this one with all the desired changes

Story - I never really considered writing a New perspective universe story as im not a good writer and it is dead last I checked (last update Feb 2021 for Austin's) but I am tempted to do a short story of Lugia adopting Axel. That would be set and/or start before pokemon take over if it is set in the perspective universe.
Comic - Sounds like too much time and effort for me XD, I might do a day at daycare one as a compilation of pictures I have done / will do

As it is with lugia you could also add to the 3 mystical birds moltres Item and shoes since which lugia is the legendary major that keeps those 3 at bay
You could do the same as with him that 1 boy and 2 girls next to him have been adopted or by the way raised all their lives with those 4 legendary and for couples x skyrmory shoes (it would fit him well) articunox corvinknigth (they fit very well ) and moltres x talonflame (you don't have to be a genius to know why)

Didn't really think about lugia's side yet I admit. Axel's adopted family is Lugia (mother) and Latios (father) with the two latias' in the pic being his aunts. I probably won't have a adoptive sibling that lives with them.
the 3 legendary birds could be there either as older (adult) siblings that have moved out or Aunts/Uncles though I would go Moltres x Talonflame (Yeah who wouldn't pair the two), Zapdos x Fearow as well as Articuno with either Pidegot or shiny Braviary.

With the mystical birds, it is better that they be brothers and sisters of lugia because the children would apply if lugia had created them, as are the cases of hoo-hoo with

And the last thing so that you have a clearer mind would be the region in my opinion if you don't want them in their native region, that is, jotho, you could use another region as a village or else and also think about what they would do/work with zapdos, it is very easy to He is always by Articuno power plants. I would see him more as a teacher (with regional form) and a bad businessman or policeman.
I don’t see it as them being created by lugia really, I could have it that they are adoptive sibling to lugia not sure really. I will do a post or short intro paragraph of the family before doing anything else with them.
In all likely hood wouldn’t have children for the legendary birds as it already is far more characters than I would be able to handle properly. If I did change my mind then they could always have adopted the child/children later whether it’s a girl or boy or pokemon is undecided.
Region wise I will either go for Johto or Sinnoh
Job wise of the birds haven’t thought of yet aside from Lugia being a city/region guardian but I do like the idea of Zapdos being a policeman. Articuno would be an intellectual with a job as a researcher or teacher. Moltres I can’t think of anything, so they could be the youngest of the lot and have been roaming the world and doing random jobs
